People say they believe God is good, but do they? Many people don’t believe God is good because of things that have happened in their life, or that they see in the lives of others. People have died, they’ve been hurt, someone close to them has a disease…and what do we do? Directly or indirectly blame God. We’ll say, “Well, God took him from me.”
Let’s look at Luke 18:
18A certain ruler asked him, “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
19“Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. “No one is good—except God alone.
So the next logical step here is to understand ‘good.’
